  1. StartMenu v1.0

  3. To install StartMenu:
  4.  
  5.     1. Drag the StartMenu drawer to anywhere on your hard disk. That's it :)
  6.  
  7. These files should be in this archive:

  9.     StartMenu             - the main program
  10.     FindFile              - the file search program
  11.     FindFile.info         - its icon
  12.     StartSetup            - the program used to create/delete menus
  13.     StartSetup.info       - its icon
  14.     Stop.info             - icon used for the "Shut Down" menu
  15.     Default.info          - icon used for programs that don't have icons
  16.     Folder.info           - icon used for menus
  17.     StartMenu.guide       - AmigaGuide documentation for StartMenu
  18.     StartMenu.guide.info  - its icon

  27. StartMenu is a CLI program.  This means it cannot be run from the
  28. WBStartup drawer.  If you wish to run it everytime you start your
  29. computer, you'll need to edit the S:User-Startup file.  To do this,
  30. load S:User-Startup into your favorite text editor (if you don't have
  31. a text editor, open a Shell and type "ed s:user-startup").  If the
  32. S:User-Startup file does not exist, create one.  Move to the very end
  33. of the file and type the full path/name of the StartMenu program.
  34. For example, if you installed StartMenu to Sys:Utilities/StartMenu, then
  35. you would add this line to S:User-Startup:

  37.     Sys:Utilities/StartMenu/StartMenu

  39. Also, you can supply a font name and size for StartMenu to use:
